December Transplants for NFT Patients

As always, NFT would like to recognize our patients who received their lifesaving transplant operations in December.

Sandy Brown (kidney) at Medical University of South Carolina
Zoila Mora (bone marrow) at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute
Eric Savage (stem cell) at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center
Kathy Suher (bone marrow) at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center

We are so happy these patients have overcome the first obstacle of transplantation. While they will still need follow-up care and regular medical attention, these patients have truly already received a second chance at life.

NFT works with patients throughout the long process of transplantation, which continues well beyond their transplants. It is our hope for patients to focus on their health and recovery rather than worrying about expenses. For that reason, NFT maintains relationships with patients and their families post-transplant to continue raising funds for vital anti-rejection medications, doctors' visits, travel, lodging and much more.
